Permeate hoses connect the end of each membrane housing to the permeate header.
The permeate hose has a sanitary sample point from which samples of the permeate are taken and can be analysed for protein levels. With a hose on the end of each membrane housing, under normal plant design this allows monitoring of the membrane performance to a block of three individual membranes.
The permeate hoses also allow for visible monitoring for cloudy permeate to indicate membrane effectiveness.
The permeate connection hose is flexible which allows the plant to be re-assembled with ease after maintenance or plant inspection.
The hose design enables the early identification of leaking membranes, which can prevent significant costs by reduction of protein losses by early identification.
