Smart Membrane Solutions have been manufacturing their own products since 2002.
All materials of construction are FDA certified and as part of the product development Smart Membrane Solutions ATD’s were tested at Auckland University to prove that they performed beyond the theoretical strength requirements to prevent telescoping of spiral wound membranes.
As part of the AsureQuality Approval the ATD’s and Lip Seals were installed in a production facility and trialled for a full processing season, and were monitored by AsureQuality. At the end of the trial AsureQuality approved the product for Direct Product Contact in Membrane Plants. (AsureQuality are a commercial company, 100% owned by the New Zealand government that provide food safety and biosecurity services globally to the food and primary production sectors).
Smart Membrane Solutions products have also obtained certification to the EU1935/2004 Standard for Products Suitable for Food Contact.
Alongside these certifications, Smart Membrane Solutions has an internal quality system in place to ensure the products are manufactured to specification and the products supplied are fully traceable.
